So I tried a new adult beverage this week. I had some Ice sparkling water and wanted to try something new.
Well I am back in keto, and I have lost a whopping one pound..yep one pound…lol….well at least the scales didn’t go up!
In truth, I try to live a balanced life, taking the good with the bad. And when dealing with the dysfunction that sometimes surrounds my life, I try to remain positive. But honestly, when I try to shove the pain and heartache into a dark corner, far, far away from my emotions, I often create an emotional train wreck that can throw my world into turmoil.
In a cozy mountain cabin, while sitting before an inviting fire, I am drinking my morning coffee. My pups are snuggled under their favorite blanket, and I am thinking about my time spent in my mountain get-away….what a magical Thanksgiving break.
The darkness of the night has faded as the morning light begins to peek over the mountain tops. The white bark of the aspens create a striking backdrop against the nearby cabins. On this chilly morning, a light snow falls, adding a new layer to this winter wonderland. This peaceful setting makes me wish for just a few more days
Still, In time, I will return again to enjoy another season of mountain splendor…maybe in the spring and definitely this summer…or I just might find myself homesick for another quiet moment in the mountains, and I will find my way back for a long weekend at Creekside Chalets and Cabins. This place has become one of my favorite places, and I can not wait to return.
Well, I am down two more pounds….just in time to gain weight for turkey day….I am still not sure if I am going to cheat or not…..lol…decisions…decisions…
Well, nothing exciting to report this week: except, I don’t like the time change! Just pick one already!
Well, we didn’t get the snow day last week, but I survived Halloween week at school. I did eat one small Hershey Chocolate square, but I still lost four pounds this week! Wahoo, down 34 pounds! Lovin’ Keto!
Yes, I know I am behind; I am behind on my work at school too. And to make matters worse, Wednesday is Halloween, every teachers nightmare. They come to school in their cute little costumes and expect that every class should party although admin has other ideas. Sigh….
My weekend get away with my daughter was so much fun. We stayed two nights in Maysville, Colorado in a quaint cabin. The area was breathtaking, and to our delight autumn’s glorious display was spectacular.
Since I will be gone this weekend, I am posting a little earlier than normal. As of this morning I have lost another pound, 28 pounds in total. Continue reading “Yes, I Cheated”
