Workout Routines for Mermaids

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved the water, and I was lucky enough to grow up on an island in the San Francisco Bay.  Most days I was always near the ocean since my home was only a few blocks away from the nearby beaches. Even my grade school and high school were situated near the calming blue waves  During breaks, the sounds of seagulls and crashing waves were just steps away, and I would often enjoy watching the sea life and sailboats that that moved along the sunlit ocean.

Recharging

In truth, I try to live a balanced life, taking the good with the bad. And when dealing with the dysfunction that sometimes surrounds my life, I try to remain positive. But honestly, when I try to shove the pain and heartache into a dark corner, far, far away from my emotions, I often create an emotional train wreck that can throw my world into turmoil.

Slow and Steady

After three months on Keto, I have lost 22 pounds!  This past week I was thrown out of keto when I accidentally  consumed some “hidden” carbs.  Initially, I gained three pounds, and I was horrified.  Still, I persevered and ketoed on!  Although I am not back in ketosis, I still lost those additional three pounds and an extra one too!
