Four months!! I can’t believe I haven’t written in four months. I am still doing keto, but I must admit I have become discouraged since I have stalled pretty much since January. My weight has fluctuated a little, sometimes up and sometimes down, but I pretty much just flatlined. Continue reading “My Keto Journey”
I haven’t written for a month and a half! I am still plugging along on my keto, but I have kinda stalled, not gaining but not losing either. But I am not giving up. Hopefully, I will start losing again soon. Although I haven’t measured, i know I have lost inches. My newer jean are getting looser, and my shirts are sliding off the shoulders.
Work has been extra crazy and stressful. Life in general has been pushing the limits! Still, next week is spring break andI am heading out of town for some much anticipated R & R! A friend and I are returning to a favorite mountain get-away! I can’t wait!
Oh my…another heavenly keto friendly dessert treat! I love this way of eating!
I had my patience tested, and I’m negative.
Well, six months ago, to the day, I changed my eating habits. It has been a rewarding challenge, and I am grateful I decided to follow this lifestyle change.
Since this morning was a lazy morning, I decided to tinker in the kitchen a bit. This week I received some new Sugar Free Torani Flavors, so I decided to make a chocolate peppermint coffee creamer, just in time for the Christmas Season.
So I tried a new adult beverage this week. I had some Ice sparkling water and wanted to try something new.
Well I am back in keto, and I have lost a whopping one pound..yep one pound…lol….well at least the scales didn’t go up!
In a cozy mountain cabin, while sitting before an inviting fire, I am drinking my morning coffee. My pups are snuggled under their favorite blanket, and I am thinking about my time spent in my mountain get-away….what a magical Thanksgiving break.
The darkness of the night has faded as the morning light begins to peek over the mountain tops. The white bark of the aspens create a striking backdrop against the nearby cabins. On this chilly morning, a light snow falls, adding a new layer to this winter wonderland. This peaceful setting makes me wish for just a few more days
Still, In time, I will return again to enjoy another season of mountain splendor…maybe in the spring and definitely this summer…or I just might find myself homesick for another quiet moment in the mountains, and I will find my way back for a long weekend at Creekside Chalets and Cabins. This place has become one of my favorite places, and I can not wait to return.
Well, I am down two more pounds….just in time to gain weight for turkey day….I am still not sure if I am going to cheat or not…..lol…decisions…decisions…
