After three months on Keto, I have lost 22 pounds! This past week I was thrown out of keto when I accidentally consumed some “hidden” carbs. Initially, I gained three pounds, and I was horrified. Still, I persevered and ketoed on! Although I am not back in ketosis, I still lost those additional three pounds and an extra one too!
Tis week has been stressful too. I am having additional aches and pains, and the pain is now moving into my ribs. My new practitioner has scheduled an ultra sound, so we can find the source. Work is also stressful, for I have so much work, but I can’t access the building. With all the new construction our key cards are not working properly. After school this week, I may have to run home, grab the pups and pull a late night!
For the first time in a long time, I am craving sweets. I am not sure if it’s because I was thrown out of ketosis or if it is due to the stress. At any rate, I was able to curb those cravings with my chocolate chip cookie dough protein shake and my s’mores coffee creamer.
