Six Weeks on Keto

Well, after six weeks on keto, I have lost 15 pounds, and I am just ten pounds away from my first goal.  My clothes are looser, and my old tops are so big now that I only wear them around the house.  It feels good to be wearing  a size smaller, even my shoes are too big!  Four days ago I took my measurements; I wish I would have done that at the beginning.

Now, as I prepare to return to school, I am scrounging through boxes for my “smaller” clothes.  It feels good to be dropping a size and to be losing weight.  I am looking forward to this new school year.

Feelin’ good and lookin on the bright side.

  1. Nice work, Annie! Are you finding other benefits too, like more energy, less aches and pains, better sleep, etc? I am not totally on a Keto plan but eliminating flour and sugar in my diet sure made me feel better in other ways in addition to the weight loss.

    1. I have found other benefits. I have aback injury, and I now have arthritis too. This plan has helped with the inflammation which in turn has helped with the severity of the pain. I do have more energy, and I sleep better than I have in years! Plus, I feel more focused. I love this new way of eating!
