A Root Beer Float

Without a doubt, I have an incurable sweet tooth.  I love sweets!  While I have been doing pretty good in that department so far; today, well, I just had to have something sweet. Since i joined a keto support group, I have pinned  a few recipes to Pinterest.  One low carb recipe that caught my eye was a recipe for a root beer float.

All you need are two ingredients: diet root beer and 1/4 cup whipping cream.  Take a 12 oz can of Diet A&W Root Beer and place it in the freezer for about 10 minutes.  Pour 1/4 cup of whipping cream in a glass (wish I had a glass mug to make it frosty).  Slowing pour ice cold root beer over whipping cream.  The bubbles from the soda make the cream frothy.  And that’s it.  A sweet treat that will satisfy.   Best part only 1.66 carbs!

Next time, I may try a cream soda version.  But at any rate, I have discovered a new dessert that I love.  Enjoy!

Indulgin’ on the bright side!

Annie
